Life happens. Whether it's age, injury, or illness, sometimes our furry family members will get sidelined. Good thing times have changed. With wheelchairs for dogs, loss of mobility need not be loss of life or life quality.
Our lightweight, adjustable dog wheelchairs help your furry friends enjoy fun and active lives. And it's not just about walking, running, and playing either, it's about essential socialization and exploration as well. Giving mobility back to our pets means giving them back well-rounded, healthy lives.
Best Friend Mobility has been around since 2005. And since then, we have kept to our original goal of making adjustable wheelchairs for dogs that are accessible to more pets and their humans. We've built on that by continuing to develop and innovate our range of wheelchairs for pets. Best Friend Mobility is the first to design, build, and market a self-actuating assisted sit and stand pet wheelchair, the SitGo. We continue to improve our product line to reflect the advancements in materials and technology.
Ailments that our dogs may suffer from such as arthritis, hip dysplasia, degenerative myelopathy, and injuries that lead to loss of limb or lameness are difficult for our pets and for our families. We're here to help make it a little easier with high-quality pet wheelchairs.
Getting the right fit is the most important step when choosing a dog wheelchair, and at Best Friend Mobility we make it simple. Our dog wheelchairs are available in sizes XXS through XL, designed to support dogs of all breeds and body types. To find your dog’s correct size, have your dog lie calmly on their side on a flat surface. Using a standard tape measure, measure from the bottom of their rear paw up to the top of their hindquarters — this single measurement is the key to selecting the right wheelchair size for your dog. This rear leg measurement ensures the wheelchair supports your dog’s hind end at the proper height for comfortable, natural movement. Getting an accurate measurement before ordering will help avoid sizing issues and get your dog moving and enjoying life again as quickly as possible. If you’re unsure about your measurement or need help choosing between sizes, our team is here to help you find the perfect fit.
